Last two cards from class.
The above card was cased from the Stampin'Up demonstrator web site.  I changed the colors to be more spring like.  It was a good way to use two stamp sets from the Sale-a-bration catalog as well as the patterned paper.  Out of a group of 8 women that made this card 6 of them ordered at least one if not two of the Sale-a-bration items used in the card.    The card allowed me to show embossing, 2 punches, and the big kick and scalloped envelope die.
This was the third card the group made.  It was a great contrast to the other  two cards, and a stretch for me to use such a bold patterned paper.

Last nights class.I taught a class last night at a friends house and this is one of the cards we made.  All supplies are Stampin'Up.  Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set, whisper white and basic black card stock, Certainly celery ink and ribbon and the phrase was stamped in basic black.
I also showed additional samples using Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set.  The above card used whisper white and basic black textured card stock and whisper white craft ink.  Very simple to make.
This sample used basic black card stock and ink.  The pink passion card stock was stamped first before embossing with the Manhattan flower impressions die now available through Stampin'Up.  It was a fun evening,  I enjoyed teaching again.  It had been about a year and a half since I had taught a class, because of family medical issues.  I will try and post the other cards from the class soon.

First post

am taking a giant step here and attempting to become part of this electronic world.  These are some views of two projects that I will be offering at a friends local scrap booking event.  The first is an explosion box that will be offered in two color choices.  The second is a book made out of 5x7 mat board scraps that my sister gave me and decorated with paper and die cuts.  Nearly all supplies are Stampin'Up.  My next step will be to slowly learn how to adjust the blog setting each time I sit down to add a note and pictures.
